Nigeria is a federation. Creating state police is not a mandatory exercise for states who do not wish to. Let the states that want to create it do as they wish. When the law is passed, you can tell your house of assembly not to domesticate it. Continue to use hisbah, sharia and Federal police.

What you will not do is hold back those who desire progress. That era is over.

After all the Constitution has been changed to allow states to generate, transmit, and distribute electricity since 2023. Has your state done anything? No state in the NW and NE has set up proper regulatory commissions in 3 years. Only Kogi, Plateau and Nassarawa in the NC.

The State Police will not be perfect; the Federal Police are insufficient and imperfect, but a federal republic needs State and Local police and policing.

That said, the passage of the State Police Act is a significant achievement, and full credit for establishing the State Police and the continued push for devolution of powers goes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

On this, you have my 100% support. Go further and see if you can advocate for and implement regional devolution.

World Bank List Tincan & Apapa Ports on Global Top 20 Improved Ports.

The continuous improvement paradigm of the Dantsoho-led Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has received global recognition, as the World Bank, in its Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) for 2025, released in June 2026, listed Tincan Island Ports Complex and Apapa Port Complexes in the Top 20 Port Improvement category.

The Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) provides a consistent, data-driven measure of global port efficiency by focusing on vessel time in port. It enables comparisons across ports and over time, helping identify where performance is improving and where challenges remain.

This development is coming on the heels of the NPA's frontline contribution to the sustenance of the National Trade Surplus through its provision of the platform for Nigeria's successive attainment of trade surplus year-on-year since 2024, and most recently N7.54 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

I extend my warm greetings to everyone for making it into the month of June, 2026 and I wish you all-round blessings, breakthroughs and the fulfillment of your expectations in all your endeavours.

As I look forward to consolidating my grassroots political engagements in Ondo East/West Federal Constituency ahead of the general elections, I sincerely appreciate the massive support I received from the good people of Ondo Kingdom, especially members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who came out en masse to vote for me during the APC MHR primary election last month.

Your overwhelming support and enthusiasm for ensuring a paradigm shift toward quality representation at the National Assembly have further strengthened my determination to remain resolute in advancing the development of Ondo Kingdom.

As I have always maintained, my role is to serve wholeheartedly and leave lasting legacies with the support of my leaders, community stakeholders and constituents across Ondo Kingdom.
