@yokotaro Thank you for sharing. I made gyudon at home for lunch today. Living in Kentucky is difficult to get good Japanese and Chinese food. It was delicious.
Went to see “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in IMAX.
It begins with Tom greeting the audience and ends with a glance he throws our way. This wasn’t a film about Ethan Hunt saving the world from the threat of digital domination — it was a film about Tom Cruise, putting his life on the line in a desperate struggle to save cinema itself, which is slowly vanishing from the world.
It was the movie of a man who lives and breathes film. I still want to see him keep making the impossible, possible.
I hope this series continues.
At 61, I’m proud to be a follower of Tom, who’s 62.
@OnlyAfroGames I used to work at a nice restaurant and it's always a power move when someone comes in by themselves. Like "I don't need a special occasion or companion to dine well. This is nothing to me".
Eden Lake (2008) - Somewhat absurd premise but perfectly executed. Ending still stuck with me 17 years later
The Sadness (2021) - Some of the most depraved acts of violence I've seen put on screen. A real test of endurance all the way to the end.
I loooove when a movie ends on the darkest, bleakest, most demoralizing, hopeless, dismal note with no moment of relief and just leaves me feeling completely empty inside

鹽酥雞 Yansuji 🇹🇼
Marinated in soy sauce and garlic, double coated in batter and sweet potato starch, fried and seasoned with basil, peppers, and chilis. Maybe I'm biased but fried chicken doesn't get better than this.
