I accept that a lot of the behaviour in the Heated Rivalry fandom can be explained with age and maybe I would have behaved the same way when I was younger. But none of this will achieve anything good. You won't win this way. Believe me. I have seen it all before.

They aren't even that old. They don't have it all figured out yet; neither do I. Something else you learn with age. Some can forgive, others will not. That's life. But you shouldn't be putting ANYONE on a pedestal high enough to cause damage on the fall down. That's unfair.

Too many people have a high opinion of their own intelligence and think - just because he's read a Joan Didion book or two - Hudson is a judgemental snob like them. I think that's an inaccurate assessment and more of a projection. His opinions on LA are informed, not patronising.
