I don't know any details or who, but just reading the article, it's self contradicting ๐.
One could also make a narrative "maybe they were fired because they didn't prevent it?" IF it were even true. It would also mean the 3rd party tools (the same used by law enforcement) didn't catch it either?
I don't run Binance anymore, but as an ex-ceo, I know they run EVERY transaction through multiple 3rd party AML tools.
You can put a negative narrative on anything by talking to "anonymous source" who is "unhappy" or paid to FUD.
๐More Than Just a Logo: The Depth of the Binance Symbol
The Binance logo was designed in 2017 to bring the concept of Binary Finance to life. It is not just a symbol for an exchange but a flag for a global financial system.
๐ชGeometric Meaning: The Balance of Buyers and Sellers
The core structure of the logo is based on two primary squares. These squares represent the two fundamental forces in the market: Buyers and Sellers. The intersection where these squares overlap symbolizes the exact moment where trade happens and value is safely exchanged. This design is a direct tribute to the "Binary" in the Binance name.
๐ซถA Symbol of Blockchain and Trust
The interlocking squares also represent a Blockchain network. The way the blocks are connected expresses the unbreakable security and transparency of the system. The diamond shape formed in the center symbolizes the seamless flow of value and information in a decentralized world.
๐The Power of Colors
The color palette was chosen with specific intention:
๐ธ Yellow: Represents prosperity, energy, and the "new gold." It symbolizes the brightness of the financial future.
โช๏ธ Black: Emphasizes power, professionalism, and the solid infrastructure of the technology.
๐ Summary of the Vision
The @binance logo is a reflection of the vision to make complex financial processes simple, reliable, and accessible to everyone. This structure has remained unchanged since day one, uniting the community under a common goal. At Yes Binance, we fully stand by this vision, this effort, and this future.

There were hundreds of people raising their hands, but we can only get through a dozen people or so.
From CEO to Architect: @cz_binance โs New Path
This interview took place in January 2026 during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
โซ๏ธ@andrewrsorkin : Welcome back, CZ. Itโs been a long time. How are you feeling?
๐@cz_binance : Thanks, Andrew. Iโm doing well. The last few months gave me a chance to see life through a different lens. I had plenty of time to think strategically and set my priorities for the future. I feel much more energetic and focused now.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: There has been much talk about the prison process and the subsequent presidential pardon. How did this affect your vision?
๐CZ: What happened is in the past. I am grateful to the Trump administration, but my focus has never been politics. I am a tech person. This process taught me that I should focus on ecosystem architecture rather than corporate leadership. I will not return as @binance CEO. I will now dedicate my time to building systems and educational projects.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: If you were to start Binance today, would you do anything differently?
๐CZ: Definitely. If I were starting Binance today, I would have completely blocked US users from day one to solve regulatory issues from the start. We grew very fast in the past, and that growth brought some compliance challenges. The next generation of entrepreneurs needs to grow in harmony with regulations rather than in conflict with them.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: What are your expectations for the crypto markets in 2026? Many are talking about a super cycle.
๐CZ: Bitcoin is moving beyond its classic four year cycles. I believe 2026 will be a true super cycle year due to institutional adoption and regulatory clarity. We should look at infrastructure now, not just price. Crypto has become an inseparable part of global finance.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: What do you think about the integration of AI and cryptocurrencies?
๐CZ: It is inevitable. In the future, AI agents or autonomous software will trade on our behalf. These agents cannot open bank accounts or use credit cards. Their native language and currency will be cryptocurrencies. Crypto is the operating system of AI.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: How are governments approaching blockchain technology?
๐CZ: I am currently in talks with about 12 different governments. State owned real estate, minerals, and infrastructure projects will be tokenized on the blockchain. This will allow the public to invest directly in the assets of their own country. Capital markets will be completely democratized.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: Crypto usage in daily payments is still very low. When will this change?
๐CZ: Letโs be honest, no one is using crypto directly to buy bread at the market yet. However, the future lies in invisible crypto. Blockchain will run behind payment systems, but the user will only see dollars or euros in the foreground. Stablecoins are the most critical part of this transition. Users won't even feel they are using crypto.
โซ๏ธAndrew Ross Sorkin: Finally, what is your message to the community?
๐CZ: As I always say. Ignore the FUD and the noise. Keep building. The future belongs to those who build it today. Rule 4 still applies. Just stay focused.
