This chart should make people uncomfortable.

A growing share of 12th grade girls now look at marriage, children, lifelong commitment, and staying married with doubt.

That is a report card on the adult world we handed them.

Too many adults will blame feminism because blaming their own example would hurt more.

The sad truth is simple. Many girls have watched dating apps cheapen courtship, and financial pressure make parenthood feel impossible. They have seen adults talk about family values while living as if loyalty and sacrifice are too much to ask. Then we wonder why they hesitate before trusting marriage, motherhood, and lifelong commitment.

Tradition gives young people a picture of life worth choosing. Marriage needs visible examples of patience. Parenthood needs dignity. Commitment needs adults who make it look honorable instead of challenging.

A civilization loses the future first in imagination.

When its daughters stop believing family life will protect them, the collapse has already entered the home.
