I was just a cog in the machine. Tossed into a world I had no way out of. Given an offer I couldn't turn down.

Ok so I have a question moving forward.
Do I do my character's dialogue like

This?

Or

"This?"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

"A loud woman screamed in my ear to shoot at the giant robot and honestly I'm not sure why I actually did it.
... probably will do it again though."

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Happens to me too.
Sucks.

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Yeah..but where the hell would we even find em?

( They're just standing in the aftermath of the battle, looking around )

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"Superman had a dog!? Since when!!"

"His sense of smell's gotta be ridiculously strong for him to sense that treat from God knows where.."

"Does he just.. wait around in the sky for people to throw one down?"

"We could handle the Spirit Realm with just a bag of Krypto treats!"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

SUPERMAN'S!
LIKE.
THE. SUPERMAN.

( They also rush over to pet him! )

Who's a good boy? You are! Yes you are!

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"Krypto? You said that like I'm supposed to know who that is!"

*Val doesn't read comics, but he sees Krypto, a cute superdog and immediately rushes over to pet him*

"Awwww! Is this little guy really what took down that spire, he's really strong!"

"Who's dog is this..?"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Wait...OH SHIT IT'S KRYPTO!!

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Step back!
I got this..

( With a mix of The Force [an ability they canonically have] and Earth Bending [also canonically have], they lift the rubble and there's...a dog in a cape..? )

+

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"I don't know man!!"

*Val's caught off guard by the Spire being destroyed so easily, he was ready for a tough battle.*

"Do you hear that..? It sounds like barking coming from underneath the rubble, like a dog barking!"

*he rushes over to the remains of the destroyed Spire*

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

What.
The FUCK.
was that??

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

( the bone is still flying through the air, right as it hits the Spire... )

[ FWOOOOOOSH ]

( A streak of white and red flies by at speeds neither could fully react to, whatever entity this was going STRAIGHT through the Spire, breaking it instantly. )

+

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"Yeah, I got my Ray Gun, here you can borrow it!"

*Val lends Looper his Ray Gun, though he's confused and wondering where that rumbling's coming from*

"Dude, is another portal about to open or something, what's up with that rumbling!?"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Hm...maybe it's time I upgraded my suit..

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

( fuck it, they decide.
They decide to throw the dog treat directly at the Spire's weakpoint )

You got a gun, dude?
We'll probably need-

( As they pull out their Surgefire SMG, they feel a...rumbling? What's what whistling? )

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

( eyes focused on the obvious weakpoint, they reach for their knife and- )

. . .
Oh SHIT.

( They pull out a...golden dog treat? A DOG TREAT?!
Oh. They're fucked. )

+

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

*things wouldn't be getting any easier however, the Spire had finally turned it's attention onto them, suddenly multiple portals appeared around it, sending numerous flying masks out of them*

"I don't know what those masks do, but don't let them get you either way!"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

( they need to destroy the Spire, or else these guards will keep coming.
Which... might be hard seeing the circumstances.
So, The Looper keeps fighting, such as they've always done. )

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

( swiftly pulling out a DMR, they accurately shot the guards in the head, pulling out their pickaxe to deal with the rest )

That all you got?

( SWING SWING SWING.
the guards go down, yet it seems for every one taken down, two take their place. )

+

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"GRAAHHHH!!!"

*the heaviest guard leading the others swung it's Warhammer at Looper, giving them little time to react.. hopefully Val makes it back soon, because once that Spire switches it's attention to Looper.. things will get much worse*

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Alright!

( They spring into action, sprinting towards the danger, assault rifle in hand. )

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"That's not good, thank God it's not directly inside the city, I'm pretty sure a breach is happening, come on!!"

"The sooner we deal with whatever comes through, the less danger is posed to the people living in Utopia City!"

[𝕋ℍ𝔼 L̶𝕆Ø𝙿Ḕ尺 @YesTHATLooper]

Alright...I got..

-A Fury Assault Rifle
-Chug Jug
-Haylee's pom-poms (don't ask)
-Synthwave's gauntlets (also don't ask)
-and an Oni shotgun.

What do you got?

[⏤͟͟͞͞✧ ᏃᎬᎡϴ ᎪՏᏟᎬΝᎠᎪΝͲ ✧ @hoodedlooper]

"I sure hope not.. Utopia City is right over there, the amount of damage if a breach were to happen there of all places.."

*he readies his Kymera Ray Gun, Looper is surprised to see Last Reality tech and wonders how Val got it, but there are more important things to worry about*
