At episode 12, the drama had me asking more questions than the writers were willing to answer.

At first it was time travel. Then reincarnation. Then soul swapping. Pick a lane 😭

How did Shin Seo-ri become a concubine? Never explained.

Why did Cha Se-gye keep dreaming about his past life? Never explained.

And if Shin Seo-ri and Dan-shim are supposedly two different people, then where exactly is Dan-shim? Because the drama never answered that either.

The fantasy rules changed every few episodes and by the end I felt like the writers were making them up as they went along.

The only reason we all stayed seated was Cha Se-gye. That man was the definition of a simp, a green flag, and an obsessed lover. If not for him carrying the romance on his back, this drama might have completely lost his plot eveb tho they lost it in many ways 🤧

Enjoyable chemistry, confusing mythology, too many unanswered questions.

Apart from the many unanswered questions, there were some inconsistencies too.
According to the writer the fl came from the Joseon era to the modern world but how was her adjustment phase unrealistically smooth? How did she almost landed into perfection in a world 300yrs different from the one she came from? There was almost no culture shock, no learning process, no mistakes, like what we have in “Mr Queen” ?
No matter how intelligent someone is, a person from centuries ago would have a hard time adjusting with modern life.🤷🏼‍♀️

Then there’s the ml with toxic behaviors, and what’s funny is the writer trying to excuse or cover up these flaws with romance or love, we know how impossible this is on ground. 🫠

You don’t understand how this works and it’s almost disappointing to see.
There are over 200 million Nigerians and none of them have super powers - so let’s put the hero conversation aside.

Whether you vote or not, someone will become President come 2027 and best and most logical thing to do will be to look within all the Presidential candidates (outside of what social media has fed us), and see which one of them has an inkling into what you believe will make Nigeria better off. Staying out of it doesn’t help.

There are more than 3 candidates, incase you aren’t aware, and surely you can’t possibly believe that all of them don’t have empathy and a vision to fix the country.

You have the platform and influence to get any information you need from the candidates and their team members. I think you should start from there.
