I understand financial constraints require the govt to prevent draining scarce foreign reserves in whichever way possible & imposing heavy duties is probably the only way to go to curb excessive vehicle imports. When we do well, we'll still have to curb it...

We have enjoyed the benefit of a heck of a lot fewer vehicles being on the road at present giving its exorbitant prices.

Roadways can only get us so far, a higher value placed on motor vehicles ensures we aren't stuck in nightmarish traffic jams.
