You guys need to take this seriously. There’s a coordinated attack on skilled immigration.
The government has made America feel unsafe for families considering sending their kids here to study. H-1B holders have been pushed out of homes, stranded outside the country, and left in limbo. Businesses trying to compete with Big Tech are getting hit with a $100k entry tax.
Meanwhile, influencers are stalking immigrants homes and pushing narratives for clicks. This is no way to run a serious country.
If the U.S. visa restrictions for Iranians that existed at the time of Maryam Mirzakhani's application had been in place, America wouldn't have had the chance to bring the first female Fields Medal winner into the world!

seeing the members reaction to scoups announcing that all 13 of them will renew their contract made me tear up. 😭 u can easily see HOW MUCH ALL OF THEM WANTED THIS. they love what they're doing, they love their members like brothers, and they love us, CARATS. i'm so lucky to be in the same lifetime as SEVENTEEN. 🩷🩵
seventeen forever 🖤
🐶 of course we will be together forever. i really like that saying, forever doesn’t exist but we will keep challenging forever, that’s what we are doing. actually 13 people is a lot but the fact that the 13 of us have the same mindset and we gather to protect it is so nice. i’m talking about the contract right now yea? there is a fixed time period but of course we can just re-re-re-new it, anyways we will keep going [together]
I absolutely love you who ever wrote this article

“A bond no empty space can break… 13-member SEVENTEEN proves once again the story of their ‘wholeness’”
“Of all times, why is it raining right now…?”
On the afternoon of April 5 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, something almost unreal happened. As SEVENTEEN began their first encore song, “April Shower” from their 10th mini album FML, rain started pouring down from the sky like a miracle.
Despite the thunder and lightning, it became a strangely beautiful moment, just like The8 said, “It’s so romantic… I think I’ll remember this moment for a long, long time.”
The choice of “April Shower” as the core message of the encore concert felt both intentional and inevitable. The song is inspired by the old saying: “Sweet April showers do bring May flowers.” And honestly, it mirrors SEVENTEEN’s journey perfectly as they approach their 11th anniversary this May.
April’s rain isn’t just sadness or hardship. It’s something you have to go through for something beautiful to bloom. Flowers don’t bloom on their own they endure the cold rain, absorb it, and grow from it.
That same idea, that pain and struggles become nourishment for future success, hit even harder with the news that all 13 members renewed their contracts together for a second time. It turned into something really moving.
That day, only nine members stood on stage: S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Woozi, and Hoshi are currently serving in the military.
For K-pop groups, military service is always an unavoidable challenge, members being physically absent is part of the reality.
But somehow, it didn’t feel like SEVENTEEN was incomplete.
Jeonghan and Wonwoo were there in the audience, cheering. Just the fact that all 13 existed in the same space, breathing the same air, proved something bigger their “wholeness” isn’t defined by how many are on stage.
SEVENTEEN’s history has never had a missing piece.
Back in 2015, people questioned whether a 13-member group could even work. But just like their formula,
13 members + 3 units + 1 team (Carat) = 17,
they built their own way, proving themselves step by step.
They renewed their contracts early at their 6th anniversary in 2021, and now, after 11 years, all 13 members have crossed into a second renewal together, without a single member leaving.
With 13 members, everyone moves at a different pace. Their solo and unit activities expand endlessly in possibilities.
But when they come together as SEVENTEEN, all those individual speeds combine into something bigger, maximum synergy.
Even with four members missing from the stage, what they showed didn’t feel reduced. The “value” of SEVENTEEN still felt like 13.
That promise hit especially hard toward the end of the concert.
After “April Shower,” they moved into _WORLD, hinting at a new future for SEVENTEEN and CARATs. Then came “To You,” pushing through like a strong wind, before finally settling into “Circles.”
The flow itself told a story, loss, healing, and coming back.
Like the lyrics say:
“It’ll be okay. Like the hands of a clock, we’ll go around and return to where we belong.”
Even absence became part of the story, not something to hide, but something that promises a future reunion.
As leader S.Coups said,
“We’ll keep rowing forward together in the same boat.”
Even in heavy rain, their journey doesn’t stop.
This tour, which began last September at the same venue, went across 14 cities worldwide including Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium, LA’s BMO Stadium, and Japan’s four major domes gathering around 840,000 fans both online and offline.
The encore concerts wrapped it up here in Incheon.
And they’re not slowing down.

seeing people say that while hoshi and woozi weren't physically present at the encore concert, they were there in the form of the rain (because howoo 호우 in korean means heavy rain) 😔
you know, in some cultures, rain is a profound sign of blessings. it symbolizes abundance, growth, and washes away the old, making way for new beginnings 🌧️✨
🍒: i think something might happen before caratland. svt is about to face sumth important. i thought it'd be better to say this before caratland happens. jeonghan and wonwoo are here to hear this, i wish hoshi and woozi were here to, but the 13 of us have decided to re-sign our contracts and we will continue to sail on the same boat together.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
