@metoffice Red warning for pollen guys however you can’t find it anywhere on their website because it’s not a weather alert but a secondary health alert. Apparently bee pollen is more dangerous than the 36 degree extreme heat.

@YouBearsssssss @metoffice Yeah because people don’t like rules and caution these days that’s why hospitals are rammed and then they come out and say it’s normal summer to avoid any more caution against them. It’s so obvious.

@YouBearsssssss @metoffice Exactly 36-37 is just as dangerous as 40 degrees and Red Alerts are supposed to be about danger to life rather than strict numbers alone and the national power grid is already under strain yet we are green and clear this time when last time was a 37 red.

@metoffice The last heatwave was overestimated with the wet grounds. This time temperatures are being underestimated with dry grounds caving to easterly winds that are not even in land. Ground temperatures are where the true peak potential burrows.
