@jeff_foust Which means they would close public access to Boca Chica. I have a feeling that will be a hated thing for the locals. I can only imagine the damage to the environment.
@mark_dow A lot of medical professionals will have ptsd today . I understand veterans better right now… brought back deep buried memories this morning.
@ChrisMartzWX Simple question for you Mr Martz? If you have a gas oven and you increase the flow of gas into the burner.. what happens to the temperature?
@AheadoftheNews My major lettuce supplier is Taylor farms through Sam’s Club. We have had several cases and I likely had a mild case. Big plant in Bentonville
@AheadoftheNews I cannot imagine he can last another year. His dysfunction will exponentially evolve.
He immediately went to the hospital after this trip. Regan and Biden hid out. He won’t do that.
@DrPhiltill My words were not aimed at you. I think people should understand the nuance of the term “first do no harm”.. I fought for annual mammograms. I fought for lung cancer screening. Excitement over new technologies must be tempered with clinical longitudinal studies.
@DrPhiltill I think it’s interesting, people who do not have 50 years of medical experience are telling me the advantage of early cancer detection when I was in the Vanguard of early cancer detection. Like criticizing Dr Metzger’s assessment of a launch pad.
@DrPhiltill Depends. Sometimes… statistics can suggest issues that are not intuitive to us... look at the recommendations and flow of evaluation of lung lesions. Still some will require thoracotomy to biopsy a benign lesion. That patient dies of a complication. Enters into the equation.
@DrPhiltill I daily deal with incidental findings on cat scans. It is already possible to create many rat holes to pursue with needle biopsy and surgery. Technology can pick up diseases in their infancy. Proving actual benefits of early detection is elusive.
