A growing stream of income has its place in every portfolio.
@MarketPalmer_ I've definitely donated or given away something that would have been too much of a hassle or cost me money to return. But making it the norm seems a bit odd.
@C_Reilly5@DividendBreeder 3.5%-6% for long-term holdings, but I'll mess with 7-15% for short-term holdings. Not a bad rule to take a closer look at anything over 7% though!!
Anyone still holding $ULTY after it's down 30+% YTD and 40+% in the past year?

I started investing because I wanted to become rich and buy nice things.
Watches, cars, suits, designer clothes.

Time freedom and location freedom.

Some of my favorites: Preferred shares, telecom companies, utilities (πDenver, Dallas, Northern Virginia)
Ah, the algo has finally decided it wants to show me lots of posts of people shitting on dividend investors.
Cool, cool.
I'm not taking that bait...more cool dividend investors and carnivore food porn please.
