📢Apply to the Summer PhD Workshop on Entrepreneurial Finance.
Finance, econ, and management PhD students with a research interest in entrepreneurial finance are encouraged to apply for the first Summer PhD Workshop on Entrepreneurial Finance. It is scheduled for Aug 27th. 🧵
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at the UBC Sauder School of Business, currently on the 2023-2024 academic job market. My main research interests are in financial intermediation, corporate finance, private equity (PE), and entrepreneurial finance.
My ongoing work studies frictions and trade-offs in financial intermediation within PE markets, covering funding shocks, illiquidity, agency costs, and the role of financial regulation in incentive alignment. If you want to learn more about me: https://t.co/OUaVgDW2J6
Overall, my findings suggest that the growing interconnectedness between PE and other financial markets could create systemic risk and have capital allocation implications.
📢 PhD students in entrepreneurial finance or innovation! Submit your papers for the 5th WEFI student-led online workshop.
📅 Submission Deadline: Sep 15th. Event: Nov 13th.
