My speech at a 10/7 vigil in the Bronx:
Three years ago, October 7th—the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust—cruelly coincided with Simchat Torah. What should have been a day of joy became one of overwhelming grief, shock, and trauma. On that day, Jews throughout the world were robbed of the joy of Simchat Torah.
When I led a Bronx delegation to Israel for the first time since October 7th, I will never forget the experience of meeting the survivors of the Nova massacre and finding myself inspired by their resilience, by their insistence on defying despair itself, by the message: “We will dance again.” Those words remind us that the joy of Simchat Torah can never be surrendered to terror. It must be reclaimed.
The most powerful antidote to antisemitism is to be joyfully Jewish. Franklin Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Jewish identity is a beautiful gift. It is not something to be hidden out of fear. It is something to be openly celebrated with joy. With pride. With passion. And with love.
The purpose of terrorism is to strike terror into the heart of a people. The Jewish people and their allies must never stop dancing, never stop singing, and never stop living. Because the moment we stop, terror has won.
And terror can never have the final word on the fate of either the Jewish people or the Jewish State.
So I have a simple call to action:
Never give up. Never give in.
Never stop singing. Never stop dancing.
Relentlessly rejoice in your Judaism.
Am Yisrael Chai.
Don’t be Islamophobic. Stop connecting Islam to the 60,000 isolated incidents committed by Muslims who were motivated by Islamic texts and history over the last few decades.
OTD 32 years ago, Hamas terrorists opened fire on Jerusalem’s crowded Nahalat Shiva pedestrian district.
They murdered Ma’ayan Levy, 19, and Samir Mugrabi, 35, an Arab man.
A night out became a night of terror. Remember their names.
@IsraelIDFend Don't these people have to go to work in the morning? I have a lot of issues that I'd love to protest, but I have bills to pay and a family to feed. My goodness.
You don’t need to read the Quran to understand Islam. Just watch what it produces.
-Look at the Muslim terrorists, in Nigeria, In Sudan, in different countries.
-Look at Saudi appeal court sentenced Anojan Sivarasa, 24, to death for a Facebook comment about Muhammad.
-Look at the “moderates” silent while a young man faces death for insulting Muhammad.
-Look at the ones cheering the sentence.
-Look Look at the Muslim father who burned his daughter for leaving Islam in Uganda in 2024, Abdulrahim Kutosi tied up his 19-year-old daughter, Naasike Maliyati, and burned her with a hot iron and hot water after she left Islam for Christianity
-Look at another Ugandan father in 2022 sprayed his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter with acid after they refused to return to Islam, while the group shouted that they deserved death.
-Look at the son who killed his parents for insulting Muhammad in Nigeria.
-Look at the father who sent boys to pour acid on his son for leaving Islam in Uganda.
-Look at the ex-Muslim man in jail for leaving Islam. Mansour Rezk Abdelrazek an Egyptian who left Islam for Christianity had been held since July 2025.
-Look at an ex-Muslim woman Ghazal Marzban in jail in Iran for leaving Islam, held in Evin Prison and sentenced to nine years and eight months.
-Look at People leave Islam and pay for it. Meriam Ibrahim was sentenced to death in Sudan for apostasy.
-Look at the ones who flee home because leaving Islam means arrest or death.
-Look at the man killed last year for burning the Quran. In January 2025, Salwan Momika was shot dead in Sweden hours before a court ruling on his Quran burnings
-In London the same year, a man who burned a Quran outside the Turkish consulate was slashed by someone who told police he was protecting his religion.
-Look at the churches Muslims burned in Nigeria. The Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa counted about 18,900 Christians killed by Islamist groups between October 2019 and September 2025, mostly in Benue, Plateau, and Kaduna, with churches burned and villages emptied.
-Look at Saudi Arabia, with not one church. Public non-Muslim worship is banned. USCIRF’s 2026 update records house churches shut and Christian migrant workers deported.
-Look at Muslim countries where Christians cannot practice their faith in public.
-Look at the hate most Muslim scholars preach online.
They did not invent this. They got it from their holy books. Don’t waste your time reading it. The evidence is already walking around.
