Hot take: 90% of ‘AI is going to replace editors’ posts are written by people who’ve never had to match audio to a client’s off-beat wedding first dance at 2am.
A heartbreaking loss. 💔
Just days after representing South Africa at the FIFA World Cup, Jayden Adams has reportedly passed away at just 25.
A painful reminder that mental health matters. Be kind. Check on your people. You never truly know what someone is carrying. 🕊️

Dear @ChickenRepublic, @CR_Customercare
Yesterday at about 8:30 p.m., I visited your Mokola, Ibadan branch to buy food. After making my purchase, I attempted to drive out of your premises.
Unknown to me, the entrance had been damaged earlier by a trailer that came to load chickens. There was no visible caution sign, barricade, or proper direction from the security personnel to warn customers that the exit was unsafe.
As a result, my car plunged into the damaged gutter at the entrance.
The incident left me with:
* Damage to my car
* A badly damaged tyre
* Money paid to the people who helped get my car out
* Emotional distress from what could have been a much worse accident
I appreciate the security staff and the good Samaritans who eventually helped lift my car out. However, this incident was entirely preventable. If the entrance had been properly cordoned off or customers had been directed away from the damaged area, this would never have happened.
I believe this reflects a failure to adequately secure a known hazard on your premises. I hope Chicken Republic takes responsibility for this incident and reaches out to resolve it, while ensuring no other customer experiences the same thing.
