The power here went out for a blink... Just enough for my TV to shut off and make me navigate through the menus to start back up season two of Alice in Borderland.
These days I'm realizing more and more "feeling better" from having good habits/diet isn't something I can recognize.
What I definitely can recognize is the hot garbage sluggishness and bloating I get from eating like a monster.
You don't know how good you got it till it's gone.
I'm kinda surprised how challenging these few weeks of sobriety has been.
I didn't realize how much a crutch booze has been when I look for some way to de-stress.
I'm only now realizing how often I look for a way to de-stress.
It's kinda eye opening.
Saw a fruit truck selling Tepache(a fermented pineapple drink).
Because fermentation, there's traces of alcohol(my Asian flush feels something now that I finished it).
I believe it was honest mistake and I don't think this is gonna spiral out.
From the top. One month to go.
Of course the Korean super market had a Kimchi sour flavored beer.
Of course I discover this the day after I committed to a month of sobriety.
Fate loves irony.
@jdsdough Something tells me it's harder than you think. I plan to stop drinking coffee and alcohol from this Sunday until at least September. We can give it a try together
@jdsdough I think that's a sign for cutting back the drinking.
Going cold turkey isn't easy unless you find something else to replace the crutch however :/
Every time I see family they always mention that I lost weight.
either their still thinking of me when I was in my fatter years, they're lying, or my once-a-week workouts work.
Today, I tried, and fit in pants I bought when I was 15 lbs lighter.
My body is going through changes.
I bought coffee beans from Starbucks and asked if they could grind it for me.
The barista asked if I wanted it in the bag it came in, I said yes.
Shortly after I asked 'out of curiosity, where else could it go?
I caught him in one of those "enjoy the movie" "you too" situation.
