@AfroBloggers@tinasheylife From the boy walking bare foot in the street,
To one walking in the corporate world.
From footprints to shoeprints.
For me it doesn't symbolize fashion but it symbolizes change.
It is not only about class, but about freedom.
I wear you with pride.
Before you invest, you need savings.
Before savings, you need income.
Before income, you need skills and social capital.
Before skills and social capital, you need to apply yourself.
"The most underrated investment isn't about money. It's investing in yourself.
Developing your skills, expanding your knowledge & focusing on personal growth can pay dividends for years to come. Investing in yourself is an investment that will never lose its value."~@cheruiyotkb

When building wealth, be sure to invest into assets that you understand, have solid foundations and provide real value. There is no one way or right way to build wealth. Create a plan and portfolio that fits you. Become financially literate.
You can use your blog as an influential voice in your community or country to advocate for change on a range of important issues such as human rights, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare...

From experience for active investors: fixating primarily on dividends is an inferior idea (even more so to imagine that you will retire on dividends). It's better to chase total returns over longer periods (3 years plus) and rather sell (trim) for income as and when needed.
