Interested in how anyone thinks FAA could have dealt with the Cobolli wide serve on the ad side, which seemed to give him unlimited free points with his +1 inside in FH. Within the limits of FAA’s BH capability of course. @ThreadOrder@bgtennisnation#rolandgarros
@Gael_Monfils@MutuaMadridOpen Hoping to see you one last time this year. Your comeback against Fognini on Lenglen in 2014 is still the best atmosphere I’ve experienced in tennis. Magical.
@Taylor_Fritz97 Fantastic performances. I was lucky enough to see you play Diallo. Thanks for the entertainment.
You’re also rivalling Meddy for the player who does the best press conferences. Intelligent analysis of your and the opponent’s play, win or lose. Keep it going and good luck.
@tennisjames85 I would say be ready earlier. Last year I bought mine in the public ballot resale on Thursday 4 April. There were a lot available that day.
@andyroddick I think the players should be able to re-toss but they should stay within the shot clock time restriction. The umpire should not stop the clock because of a caught toss. If they want to avoid time violations they should get better at the toss.
@alexwiese_@ringsau Agreed. That’s the example I sent to someone yesterday😃. Yet anyone making the point that it is unclear/not definitive gets called an idiot and shot down. We’re humans and our eyes and brains can sometimes see things differently to others. Why is that so hard to accept?
@ringsau@sharinglung5@lilactreemakes I agree. Thanks for isolating the frames, which tell me that we don’t have enough frames per second to know for sure. So anyone saying it’s clear or obvious either way is seeing what they think they see, not what is actually, demonstrably there.
@tennis_gifs I agree that the frame rate is too low to tell. With VAR we would need to see if still frames show bounce then frame or frame then bounce. With something so fast, different people’s eyes/brains can perceive the order differently, surely? Only timestamped stills can be definitive.
@josemorgado Then what do they do with the rescheduled match? Stick the putting it 2nd on the same court as always, but not before 3pm. So what if there’s an early retirement in the Alcaraz match? They wait around until 3pm and risk Djokovic/Stan not finishing and repeating the farce.
@josemorgado IMHO the 11pm cut-off is preferable to the ridiculous late finishes at other slams, but the tournament leans on it as an excuse for the inexcusable late start to play when situations like this occur.
@informaticaaeat Modelo 718 tiene error. El total en la casilla 121 no incluye la cantidad en la casilla 119 (monedas virtuales). Las otras casillas sí incluye.
@TennizzFan@BastienFachan@MutuaMadridOpen Exactly what I said after attending. Must be the least fan friendly and least eco friendly tournament. Surprised there is not much talk about players drinking water from cans (not to mention fans) when other tournaments have reusable bottles on court.
