The Acting Secretary to the Yobe State Government (SSG), Dr. Mohammed Goje, FRSPH, on Thursday joined other members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the party’s governorship primaries held in Buni-Gari, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Dr. Goje participated in the exercise alongside aides to Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, including Hassan Shettima and Buba Alhaji Yayel, stakeholders and supporters gathered to elect the party’s governorship candidate ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The primary election witnessed impressive turnout by card-carrying members of the APC, with party faithful conducting themselves peacefully and orderly throughout the exercise.

Dr. Goje commended party members for their turnout, maturity and discipline during the exercise, describing the peaceful conduct as a reflection of the unity and internal cohesion within the APC in Yobe State.

The Ag. SSG noted that the orderly atmosphere observed during the primaries demonstrated the commitment of party members to democratic principles and the continued progress of the party in the state.

The exercise was conducted peacefully, with the APC’s endorsed governorship aspirant, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, maintaining a clear lead in the voting process. @DrGoje35
