malware targeting the RE tools themselves
Check Point documented the first known case of malware embedding natural language prompt injection strings specifically designed to influence AI models into misclassifying it as benign. The malware was uploaded to VirusTotal in June 2025 from the Netherlands. It looked incomplete on first pass and some code wasn't fully functional. Then analysts found the string embedded inside it written for an AI, not a human analyst.
casual dominance is so cute
-sitting me on ur lap
-grabbing my jaw to make me look into your eyes
-putting your hand on my back to guide me while we walk
-forehead kisses
-head pats !!
-calling me yours (MY girl, MY baby)
-kissing me in public
-holding my hand while crossing the street
My favourite x86 instruction is mov.
"Copies the second operand (source operand) to the first operand (destination operand)."
It's very useful for general computing, it's in every ISA because you can't do anything without it.
It's useful for cracking ciphers too.
@TouhouEnjoyer_ In principle rendering the room twice is worse just because that only gives you one reflection plane, whereas ray tracing can do arbitrary angles at arbitrary offsets.
In practice, almost nobody ever uses it to make scenes look better than they did 10 years ago.
I find it so funny when younger developers are like "Older games cheated! It's not actually reflections, they just render the room twice!"
Yeah, and their render pipeline takes 2ms to complete and your takes 43ms.
