We know that behind every person lost to war and terrorism is a devastated family and friends. They are all in our thoughts tonight. May their memories be for a blessing and may you be comforted among the mourners of Zion.

Today is Yom Ha’zikaron Israel’s remembrance day for its fallen soldiers and victims of terror. On 19th September 2002 at only 19, Yoni Jesner’s life was taken from him by a suicide bomber who boarded the bus he was on in Tel Aviv.
Today we remember him and all Israel’s fallen. We hope Yoni’s family and friends take comfort in the work of the Foundation which has become synonymous in the UK Jewish community with good deeds, chesed and volunteering.
