Did you know?
Yonatan Sompolinsky was the first person to do a full security proof on Bitcoin
His work helped lay the groundwork for understanding the security mechanisms underlying decentralized systems
@RiggsBTC@TheKaspaMaxi@corybates1895 He’s founder of only KAS. There’s a reason leaders in the global energy sector @KaspaKii are developing a gigawatt stable coin on the Kaspa network for global energy trade. it actually has the capacity to facilitate it. Bitcoin couldn’t handle it, nor could anything else, til now

tho for based rollups to thrive you need onchain subsec (or 1-2 sec) conf times, thus it's hard to imagine eth or opcatted btc becoming a native ecosystem for based, teams building based will end up either introducing nonbased workarounds or migrating to chains with subsec
Based zero-knowledge rollups over the appropriate L1 are indeed end game. The way I see it, this boils down to the following two significant points:
(i) Layer 1 can focus on scaling its throughput (data-wise) rather than scaling its computational expressiveness (I have previously referred to this as “wide and yet thin”).
(ii) L1 decentralization attributes and semantics fully transfer to the based L2, as L1 acts as the sole sequencer and fully dictates the L2 state.
Combined, this means that although the computational burden on the L2 increases significantly due to the zk proving effort, this effort can be fully scaled in a centralized fashion (since decentralization is driven by L1). Essentially, the proving effort can be fully sharded, while the L1 replicated state machines focus on data availability throughput.

@SeanAxion@TheKaspaMaxi @keeFollowing @johnnycage4pres @1914ad I’m not sure what’s funny. I was a BTC maxi before too. I was stubborn too. Until it was proven to me there was a better solution. You can only find that through your own research, so hopefully you’re not too closed minded to put forth the effort and not just bandwagon BTC.

Kaspa’s founder, Yonatan Sompolinsky, has done more academic research on scaling Bitcoin than any person on earth.
Ethereum, XRP, Cardano all created their networks using his past work.
Don’t go thinking you’re the wisest in the room bud.
@MichaelSuttonIL@hashdag@dimdumon@VolokhIlia Thanks Michael.
This will be the most adopted of the smart contract networks, every turn there seems to be another huge landslide win in security, and scalability.
It starts with proof of work and store of value. Everything else is a result of.
Looking forward !
