UAE doubters are retarded pt 2. the fear about desal plants getting hit is similarly overblown for UAE. the country has been planning for that vulnerability for years, which has resulted in the world's largest aquifier storage system holding 6,000 million imperial gallons. that is ~90 days of supply at emergency delivery rates.

مجرد اقتراح:

بصفتي مواطنة إماراتية أعمل في القطاع الخاص، أقدّر جهود برنامج #نافس في دعم التوطين. ولكن أود تسليط الضوء على أن المواطنين في القطاع الخاص لا يحصلون على نفس الرواتب أو المزايا التي يحصل عليها الوافدون أو موظفو الجهات الحكومية وشبه الحكومية.

لو تم تعزيز هذه الجوانب، خصوصًا بعض المزايا كإجازة الأمومة (التي لا تزال محدودة في القطاع الخاص مقارنة بالحكومة)، سيسهم ذلك بشكل كبير في استقرار المواطنين وتشجيعهم على اعتبار القطاع الخاص خيارًا دائمًا وليس مؤقتًا.

في مثال بسيط: إجازة الأمومة للمواطنات في الحكومة تصل إلى 90 يومًا مدفوعة بالكامل، بينما في القطاع الخاص لا تتجاوز 45 يومًا مدفوعة، و15 يومًا نصف الأجر. هذا يضع ضغطًا نفسيًا وماليًا كبيرًا على الأمهات المواطنات، خاصة من لا يتوفر لهن دعم عائلي في رعاية الأبناء ، ويُسهمن أيضًا في تغطية المصاريف المنزلية.

ومن وجهة نظري، وما أسمعه من بعض المواطنات والمواطنين، فإن توفير بعض المزايا الأساسية في القطاع الخاص قد يكون له أثر كبير في جعل هذا القطاع خيارًا جاذبًا وطويل الأمد. وهذا قد ينعكس إيجابيًا على استقرار الأسر، ويواكب توجهات الدولة في تشجيع الزواج وزيادة عدد المواطنين.
