With an ashamed heart, I want to apologize once again. I truly apologize very deeply to all the fans and people who love me for disappointing and hurting them with my actions.
I failed to think of/forgot about the responsibility I have of repaying the love I have received all this time with befitting actions and I made a grave mistake.

On the night of August 6th, I made the mistake of driving through the sidewalk on an electric scooter after drinking.
Also, I apologize for all the confusion caused by the first apology I uploaded hastily on August 7th.
I should have thought more deeply and been careful but I couldn't do that.

It is all my fault. My carelessness is making things hard for everyone who cares about me.
I will repent/regret as I live on and will put effort into not doing any wrong again.

Through this incident, I have left a big scar on the precious memories of my members and the fans, and I've brought trouble to BTS's name.
As the members and team suffered from damage, it is difficult to express how sorry I am and how painful it is.
I am sorry that the members who always believed in me are having a hard time because of my actions.
And the fans who always supported and cheered me on, I am well aware of the disappointment you felt.

I feel nothing but apologetic toward the fans who always gave me, who lacked so much, undeserved love…
I am aware that the hurt and disappointment the fans felt cannot be cured by any words, I am regretting deeply and I am reflecting every day with a heavy heart.
Once again I apologize with all of my sincerity to all the fans who felt hurt because of my actions.

I will abide by all the dispositions given hereafter, and criticisms and reprimands.
Lastly, I once again want to apologize sincerely with my head held down for disappointing so many people and causing public criticism.
