This is what’s happening with Tesla FSD in South Korea right now. 🇰🇷

1/ Tesla just launched FSD Supervised in Korea Nov 2025

2/ Korea is now one of the first global markets outside North America to get the latest FSD v14, currently limited to HW4 U.S. built Teslas (Model S, X, Cybertruck)

And adoption is exploding in Korea.

3/ Over 1 MILLION km (~620K miles) has been driven on FSD in just 1 month, a massive real world data advantage for Tesla from dense, complex city driving localized in Korea. Owners have reported low to no interventions, smoother city navigation, and reduced stress and fatigue.

This is why it’s a big deal for solving autonomy.

4/ Korea’s roads are some of the hardest in the world with pedestrians, scooters, tight lanes and this data will materially strengthen Tesla’s vision-only AI approach

Kind of interested to see what happens to legacy OEMs in Korea like Hyundai / Kia, who are years behind solving autonomy.

Here’s what I think is coming next.

5/ Model 3 & Y HW4 expected to get FSD once regulations approve (aiming for ~2027) as Korea becomes a key training ground for future unsupervised FSD / Robotaxi launches bc of how complicated the roads can be, it could lay the foundations of learning and launching in other countries and environments.

South Korea is one of the most demanding real-world testbeds on Earth with dense cities and chaotic traffic. And if Tesla’s vision-only AI can operate and learn here, it can launch anywhere.

And remember, South Korea is Tesla’s 3rd largest market and one of the most tech forward populations on the planet. Once Model 3 and Model Y are approved for FSD, pretty sure FSD adoption will explode.
