A teammate brings you a problem. You feel the pull to help. You reach for the answer.
Pause.
The first problem someone brings you is rarely the real one. It's just the loudest.
Try one question before you suggest anything:
"And what else?"
Sit with the silence. Don't fill it. When they finish, ask again.
By the second or third pass, the real issue usually shows up.
What's a question you reach for instead of an answer?

Perfectionism stifles creativity. Constant critique breeds hesitation, not growth. Aim for fearless execution over flawless execution. When teams feel safe to learn and improve, they’ll achieve more than perfection ever could. #LeadershipMatters
