This is what a hunted fox looks like. Fatigued. Collapsing. Exhausted.
This was sent to us by a member of the public who witnessed a hunt. The request was simple but deeply felt.’Please show people what hunts put these poor animals through. This is what a hunted fox looks like.’
It’s been almost two decades since fox hunting was banned in the UK. In December, Labour said it planned to follow through on its manifesto commitment to outlaw its legal replacement, known as trail hunting.

Another week, another sab group captures extraordinary drone footage of the illegal fox hunting that is rampant across the country.
This time, it was the Gloucestershire-based Beaufort Hunt – who used to count King Charles and Camilla amongst their riders – who were caught out by Wiltshire Hunt Saboteurs.
The footage, shot near Chippenham last Thursday, shows a fox being hunted hard over a sustained period. In heart-in-the-mouth scenes, the brave animal repeatedly seeks refuge in strips of woodland, only to be surrounded by the baying pack...

In a first, we went live for 3½ hrs following a 'trail' hunt in real time with @NHantsHuntSabs – it gained huge reach and dominated conversation online. Many were surprised that illegal fox hunting still takes place, even now, in 2024. #RealBanNow🦊
More vile behaviour which led to a rare conviction in this case , this time from the East Essex Hunt – let’s look at day 9 of my countdown of the top 20 worst fox hunting crimes with @HuntSabs#RealBanNow
STOPPING HOUNDS IN THEIR TRACKS
Sabs are the last line of defence between the hunt and the fox. This short video, filmed by sabs at a recent Eggesford Hunt meet at Ellmead Farm (near Okehampton), shows exactly what that looks like. 🧵 (1/4)

With most fox hunts having held their opening meets last Saturday, the HSA is today releasing further footage showing the cruel and illegal practice of ‘bolting’ taken by one of the hunters themselves.
As the video opens, a gang of hunters are using a spade, and perhaps terriers, to dislodge a fox from his underground refuge. As soon as the terrified fox bolts downhill, he is pursued by a large pack of baying fell hounds. Hunt supporters – eager to get a view of the fox’s suffering – can be seen scattered across the distant fellside.

Yet another hunt treating the law with absolute contempt. Blatant illegal hunting, with no attempt by the huntsman to control and stop the hounds. @dorsetpolice you need to be seen so stop this.
Another Saturday, another fox kill filmed by sabs; Two Counties Hunt Sabs in Dorset this time. The huntsman carries on as if nothing's happened...just chuck the ripped up body in a hedge. @dorsetpolice need to do a reset and issue CPNs against these hunts. @ProtectTheWild_
Just two days before National Trail Hunting Day - the farcical event that has become known as Smokescreen Saturday - the HSA is releasing horrific footage of what one of the participating hunts gets up to when police, politicians and journalists are not invited to attend.

ZERO trail hunting licenses have been granted for hunts to use Ministry of Defence land for the 2024/25 season.
This is a huge win for local wildlife.
Please help us by being on the lookout early mornings and evenings for mounted riders, hounds, horse boxes, etc., and message our page if you see any activity. If we're not able to cover, we'll pass it on. Thank you. ❤️🦊
