To celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show this week, we bring you the Gardner Chasuble, dated to c. 1700-50. It was given to York Minster by the British diarist Faith Gray who improved education for poor girls in York. What objects do you have that feature flowers? 🏵️🌼

For #Woodensday, we are sharing … A shortbread mould! One of the more curious items in the @York_Minster collection, this foliated mould dates from the late 17th or early 18th Century and reads ‘May the Bountiful Lord bless this our bread at Table’.
