Tuesday, we hosted a workshop on modern Macrame projects. Youth created a yarn floral hoop practicing a few knotting techniques, then created some corded feathers.
The Nebraska Extension Food Preservation team is excited to offer a free virtual class on pressure canning carrots. This is a great way to learn about using your pressure canner and how to can low acid foods safely!

Today was Clover Kids Outdoor Adventure workshop! Our focus...all about bugs! We made keychains, painted a bug catcher house, and made fuzzy caterpillars. They had fun interacting with our Babysitting youth. But my favorite comment:
"This is fun, but next year, please no bugs."
Final day of Babysitting workshop! These 11 youth have learned a lot over the past 3 days, and today they were able to put into practice. They tested out of CPR, helped out with some Clover Kids. And finally discussed how to turn babysitting into a profitable business.
