Incorporating literacy in math instruction provides students opportunities to understand and connect with the content more deeply. The grade 4's have a variety of opinions about zoos!
Sign languages are one of the most important, natural and accessible means of communication for the vast majority of Deaf and hard of hearing people. It allows them to participate in conversations on an equal footing.
The Grade 2's are learning about coding and were able explore the Beep bots. We set up a start and fish line for our beep bots and tried to get them to travel the direction to our stop signs by coding.
York River students would like to recognize Canadian Armed Forces Day, June 7th. We recognize the important contributions & sacrifices made by Canadian Armed Forces Members. Their outreach has helped inspire our students to discover themselves in the Skilled Trades of Ontario.
