Proud Yorkshireman, lover of @YorkshireTea, proper Coronation Street nerd. Cat Dad to Tigger. I was the quiet loner in the corner of the playground at school.
@ChrisAnstey74 Loved some of her scenes after moving into No 13 with her “pudding” Jerry. One in 1964, where Jerry discovers how much debt she has built up is true Street stuff.
@daveainsworth63 The finest Siegfried Farnon and a great man. My late godmother worked with him when she was in All Creatures. Sorry @exitthelemming ! But you come a very close second!
@G571O A slow cooker is a godsend when you live alone. I live in my family council house, 40 years ago, it was home to 5 of us, now just me and I own it outright (life insurance payout due to serious ill health claim). Just save up and buy bits when you can.
@RobDCSoaps Great drama so far. I remember when they demolished Millgarth police station in 2014, they struggled because it all had to be reinforced during the Ripper enquiry due to the amount of paperwork (they thought the floors would collapse). Never forgotten round here.
@RobDCSoaps Both my late mum & godmum were nurses working in Leeds around that time. Apparantly Mum was on duty when they brought in one of his survivors. A scary time for every woman in Yorkshire.
@WEATHERFIELDM10 OK, what in the name of Bert “you know what I mean” Tilsley is this photo doing being taken inside No 5? Shouldn’t it be 37 Hillside Crescent?
@kaospheric@Broomy17745619@ChrisAnstey74 She had a nervous breakdown due to the fame she received. Following her death, her body lay undiscovered for some weeks.
