European hiring rules are genuinely insane.

For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years.

If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!

Para que te manipulen, nunca tengas pensamiento crítico y no sepas tener un debate sin reducirse a insultos. Ah, y no saber formular una frase completa.

Bob Ross is actually a perfect example to show why art lovers are unimpressed by AI art. Bob Ross is not famous for his paintings. He is famous for his videos in which he showed *how* he made his paintings. The process matters!

@lynngranger61 I literally got into a watchlist cause I wanted to write an Ace Attorney fic hahaha. I mean my two girls slapped and kissed in paris, so I guess the investigation was worth it!

[Lu The Healer @YoukaiFire]

You can't even begin to fathom how much we investigate for our fics. I have soo many bookmarks for synonyms, list of feelings and descripctions. I've spent a whole evening investigating 60's stewards and pilot work conditions in order to write a 10k oneshot.

[🍯halo🌻 @tetelinos]

newsflash: writing matters to fic writers. our stories matter to us on a very deep level. whether it's a 300K omegaverse AU or a 6K office AU or 27k of pure, depraved smut, it all matters to us. we all put effort in it and we all care! it's personal lmao

[Lu The Healer @YoukaiFire]

@anonymousaut1st Please tell that you're not even from USA, cause that would be hilarious

[Lu The Healer @YoukaiFire]

I love how everyone is replying with their own stories 🥺

@querulousArt I had the utter curiosity to know what fandom where you in. Of course a JayVik stan would go with that 🙂‍↕️ it was very Viktor of you.

@pmbbvip Like a bibliography? That would be so hilarious

@iamnotcelestete A mi me pasa igual, antes aprovecha el momento entre clases para escribir e investigar. Ahora me tengo que contentar con leer..

I got tired of people writing the Heian era inaccurately in SukuIta fanfics and I now have enough knowledge about Heian Japan from firsthand Japanese sources to write a nonfiction history book.
But then again I am actually a historian and historical archaeologist professionally.
