@RealDCunningham Boulder is nice if you like spending well over 5 hours on a golf course. Probably would replace Fowlers Mill with either Chippewa or Grey Hawk, with whichever of those two not making the list being an honorable mention alongside Brookledge. They’re doing awesome work at LM.
Biggest decline is 1.3%. Not really that statistically significant, though I’m not sure how much better equipment/green maintenance play a factor, would be interesting to see. Regardless, posting these numbers alone without any additional context is grasping at straws.

@MatthewCappucci@_jwall Just out of curiosity, where did you find the research/studies that show “a >90% false alarm rate in some cases”? Just interested in reading the source for that, not saying you’re wrong.
Kinda wild to me that there are people in the #wxtwitter world, including degreed meteorologists, that think we should replace QLCS tornado warnings with broad blanket severe warnings with tornado mentions. Why add complexity…
@burgwx@ryanhanrahan Seems like a majority FZDZ set up for the exactly that reason, LL clouds not cold enough for good ice crystal formation and most guidance has a pretty stout dry air wedge above said saturated layer. Very subtle/interesting set up though that takes a detail-oriented eye to catch.
@NUCLRGOLF Make the best club in your bag the one in between your ears. You’d be surprised how much better you play when you’re confident in your game and don’t let bad shots get in the way of that confidence.
@PFTCommenter Frankly though, doing the math results in maybe a few mph difference in what would be felt at sea level vs at 5000+ feet so the impacts are probably pretty negligible.
One thing I’ve learned about #wxtwitter during 2025 is that no matter the organization involved (NWS, private sector, broadcasters, etc), everyone is ALWAYS looking for the next opportunity to shit on someone and prop themselves on a pedestal. Used to care, hard to now.
(2/2) And tying a loud minority of fans’ behaviors to the majority of our fan base is foolish and wildly shortsighted.
Lastly: it’s 100% okay to have the above take, but also understand that those few fans’ behaviors was unacceptable.
(1/2) Frankly… this an uneducated take on fan behavior.
Many European countries have BANNED alcohol sales at their sporting events because there are cases (plural) where fans have been injured or even KILLED because of unruly fans.
This isn’t just an American problem…
I’d like to congratulate @RyderCupEurope on their victory. Your team play the first few days was sensational.
More importantly, I’d like to apologize for the rude and mean-spirited behavior from our American crowd at Bethpage.
As a former player, Captain and as an American, I am ashamed of what happened. #RyderCup
Maybe Google should just let go of USA Network from YouTube TV instead of running that dumb crawl at the top of the screen after every 5 minute commercial break because this #RyderCup coverage is brutally bad.
