@Bluesuit_ Personal suggestion would be B with the option to just display it all at once (e.g., pressing enter) or C
A seems a bit jarring, especially since some words are longer than others so the timing's a bit odd. Hope that helps :)
Wow I haven’t posted on here in a while
Normally I’d post development of a game in making, but since this is for a school project I’ve spent a lot of time designing the game so I haven’t written a single line of code for it
Here’s some of that design:

@LithPyro Always love a good hacking minigame! Though I suggest maybe a bit more time before the minigame starts throwing things at you, so that a player wouldn’t feel like it got thrown at them. Again, love the concept :)
@NoobyNerdz @Youniiik The game engine’s called Defold, and the programming language is lua (with a lot of additional functions)
It’s pretty good for making 2D games and I hear it has decent support for 3D as well
Been inactive for a while and thought I'd leave a small update on what I've been up to:
1) Wrote a loose script for my brackeys game jam game (late I know)
2) Been preparing for a school project which I'm starting soon
Unrelated to both, I got a mobile controller working
#defold
Also a sneak peek at my (almost working) opponent driver AI! It’s a lot more complicated than I thought, especially when working with rotations, but I think it only needs a little tweaking to get working properly :)

Been a while since the last update on this game, but I’ve been working on a load of stuff so I think it’s justified
Anyway I’m pretty happy with how this looks so far, but I still have some things to complete from the brief 🗿
#lua#defold#madeindefold#gamedev#programming
Got a functioning minimap (and other things)! Making the minimap was fairly simple but it’s very satisfying to me so I’m glad it turned out nice. I’ll be attempting to make an enemy AI soon but I’ll have to figure that out
#Lua#defold#madeindefold#gamedev#softwaredevelopment
Starting a project using someone else’s design brief (school stuff) and wanted to share some progress :)
Getting the rotations to work was much less taxing this time around so I’m pretty happy with that

Been silent for quite a while but I wanted to update, I was working on the #BrackeysGameJam for the past week and didn’t want to spoil anything, so here’s the final project!
(I didn’t even submit it in time 😭)

@RonanOrb@defold Here's the tile sheet in case you're interested, though the dimensions are unfavourable (was due to player sprite size which I had no control over)
I made all of them on https://t.co/1KOUh4Ydjm if it helps 👍
@RonanOrb@defold I used a tilemap with a tile that has a single pixel border, which gives the grid effect, and I have a separate tilemap on top of it to track the player’s position and draw the outline
