Self-made, if you want it work for it

Jesus, we know that You are the only way to eternal life. Salvation is possible only because of Your grace, mercy, and love for us. There is no one else like You. Help us to focus our attention on You, and not allow distractions to overtake and discourage us from what You offer.

God, You care for those who might struggle to feel like they belong. Thank You for welcoming everyone into Your Kingdom and family. Please make me aware of the people who need extra love and care. Show me how to offer the same hospitality that You give to others. In Jesus’ name

God, I want my life to be lived for Your glory. In moments where it is difficult for me to surrender my plans to You, please help me focus on Your vision for the future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, You are worthy of all of my trust. But sometimes, it can be difficult not to let the world distract me from trusting You. Please help me to trust You with all of my heart and mind, beyond my feelings, thoughts, and circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

God, I am grateful for all the plans You have made for my life. Because You are in control, I can place my hope in You even when I face trouble. Going forward, please help me to have honest conversations with You when my future feels unclear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, You know my thoughts and desires. You know what I want and what I need. But my life is not my own—it is Yours. So please help me to act on the thoughts and desires that turn me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
