Whilst conducting an intelligence-driven operation #JMPD TRU officers together with SAPS, GTP, EMPD, ADC Security officers & BPC FNB investigators received information about four male suspects involved in courier vehicle robberies across the Ekurhuleni & Johannesburg districts.

Three of the four suspects were arrested earlier in the week, with one suspect still at large.
The officers later received information regarding the whereabouts of the fourth suspect & proceeded to the identified location. Upon arrival at the suspect's residence: Quail Street, Entshonalanga Section in Tembisa, the premises were searched leading to the recovery of a black Taurus 9mm pistol with the serial number filed off. The firearm was loaded with one magazine containing thirteen live rounds of ammunition.

The suspect was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm & detained at Tembisa South SAPS.
