"Mama. I thought we had time.
I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say.
I love you.
I’ll see you later."

Una actriz absolutamente brillante y con un dominio de la comicidad a la altura de la gran Madeline Kahn.
Una maestra del timing y la emoción. Gracias por todo.

Eugene Levy remembers his #SchittsCreek co-star and longtime friend, Catherine O’Hara.
“Words seem inadequate to express the loss I feel today,” Levy wrote. “I had the honor of knowing and working with the great Catherine O’Hara for over fifty years. From our beginnings on the Second City stage, to SCTV, to the movies we did with Chris Guest, to our six glorious years on ‘Schitt’s Creek,’ I cherished our working relationship, but most of all our friendship. And I will miss her. My heart goes out to Bo, Matthew, Luke and the entire O’Hara family.”

Delia Deetz will forever be one of Catherine O'Hara's most iconic roles, and it's no surprise returning to the Deetz family 36 years later in 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' was an especially meaningful reunion for her and Winona Ryder.
Catherine O’Hara - a woman who was authentic and truthful in all she did. You saw it in her work, if you knew her you saw it in her life, and you saw it in her family. Bo, Luke and Matthew, our deepest sympathies. May Catherine rest in peace. May her memory be eternal.
Tim Burton has written a tribute for Catherine O'Hara.
“Catherine, I love you .
This picture shows how much light you gave to all of us.
You were a special part of my life and after life.”
Unbelievably sad that Catherine O'Hara is no longer with us. Gone at 71, which is no age, really. Here's a wonderful old clip of her singing Kidnap the Sandy Claws from The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), with partners in crime Danny Elfman and the late, great Paul Reubens. Lock, Shock and Barrel, together again at the Hollywood Bowl.
In Home Alone, Catherine O’Hara hated this scene.
“I say ‘you’d be sad if you had no family,’ and he says, ‘No.’ I go, ‘say it, maybe it’ll happen.’
“I can’t tell you how much it hurt me. I couldn’t wrap my head around saying something so horrific to him
Michael Keaton pays tribute to Catherine O’Hara:
"We go back before the first Beetlejuice. She’s been my pretend wife, my pretend nemesis and my real life, true friend. This one hurts. Man am I gonna miss her. Thinking about Beau as well."
