According to the independent autopsy report:
🔹 The independent forensic expert reported that Nolan’s throat/neck structures were missing when the body was received, noting they may have been retained by the Mississippi Medical Examiner for further examination for possible trauma. That would need to be confirmed by the Mississippi forensic experts.
🔹 A massive 12×8-inch injury to the back of Nolan’s head may be consistent with a high-energy impact, including a severe fall, motor vehicle collision, or impact from a broad blunt object.
🔹 Possible blunt force trauma with deep tissue hemorrhage was identified.
🔹 The report states Nolan’s head was not examined for additional injuries by the Mississippi Medical Examiner.
🔹 Nolan was found fully clothed, raising questions about when he put his shirt back on and whether he may have left the island by boat.
🔹 Because certain organs were unavailable during the independent examination, the examiner could not determine whether there was water in Nolan’s lungs.

🚨Conflicting Accounts of Hunter Metcalf's Involvement
Hunter Metcalf gave two TV interviews in the 24 hours after his brother Austin Metcalf was killed. What he said in those interviews doesn’t match what this jury has been hearing all week.
On April 2, Hunter said “WE asked him to move.” Not Austin.
On April 3, Hunter said he was the first to approach Karmelo, not Austin. Austin then “stepped up” and “tried to handle
the problem.” Hunter also said “he grabbed the bag.” It’s unclear who “he” refers to.
At trial, multiple witnesses testified Hunter was not involved. One witness was asked directly and the answer was “No.”
A defense witness from Metcalf’s own school (who didn’t want to be there) confirmed Hunter spoke first, both brothers stood up while Karmelo remained seated, Austin threatened to “beat his a–,” climbed 5 rows, tapped Karmelo on the shoulder, then grabbed him with both hands. That’s when Karmelo’s hand came out the bag.
The state never called Hunter Metcalf to the stand.
Isn't that a question worth asking?
