I am at the very very start of my legal journey, hoping to start my degree in September. Itโs all very exciting and nerve-wracking. If any of you have any advice or guidance it would be dearly appreciated ๐ #Legal#lawtwitter
Proud to announce that I will be a part of a panel of speakers tomorrow as part of Pro Bono week discussing Stories of Impact and my work/experience in the sector

I find this to be such a thought-provoking book, especially in such a post-modern/ post-truth world where up is no longer up and down is no longer down. Of course coming from such a well established author as @ETemelkuran
May I say what an honour I had on Wednesday to meet the President of the @TheLawSociety and have him discuss with us the changing legal profession and how AI will change what lawyers do and how it can strengthen lawyers. A wholly invaluable experience.

Finished my second year at University, with the Hampshire Law Society annual dinner on Friday evening just gone, representing the UoS Legal Clinic, and we won the Pro Bono Contribution award ๐ which was simply amazing and is added to a growing list of accolades.
Feels amazing to win this, it caught me completely off guard as I was just focused on doing the best job I can and I donโt do it for the plaudits. I just love applying practical skills and helping with tangible issues and seeing the positive results that come with it
First Southampton Uni internal moot. Every time I do one of these I have all these nerves bundled up and I get in my head and I lose track of what Iโm trying to say. We won the case on law and we had all the accurate cases and guidance but I struggle to present it calmly ๐ซค

Positive November, leading the universityโs Movember campaign, setting a Post-Covid record of just shy of ยฃ35,000 and raising ยฃ350. It was a long and tough month with exams squeezed in but I just kept going and it was a brilliant result ๐
First 5k Run of Movember โ 55k more to go. Big challenge this year from to raise ยฃ500, so please if you can donate big or small itโs going to a good place ๐๐

@JB_56_ Thank you, Iโm fortunate enough that my universityโs law school offers a lot of opportunities to students. Hopefully your sonโs uni will have opportunities he can pursue, from what Iโve found one opportunity has led to another extending away from uni and into the community.
Really happy to have my pro bono work recognised from the uni and be able to lead on real cases that have real consequences. Itโs been a great experience thus far working around my studies and itโs great that my dedication has been recognised
Getting my first year results and donating blood for the first timeall in the same week ๐ . At least I get to march on to second year now and can pick more modules that I have an interest in ๐. Iโve learnt a lot about life over the past 12 months
