The two sisters got married the same week.
Their parents couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful moment. Two daughters leaving home almost together, both marrying men from respectable families, gave the entire household something to celebrate.
The elder sister’s marriage looked especially promising.
Her husband came from a wealthy family, but money had not made him arrogant. He was calm, affectionate and genuinely devoted to his wife.
For the first few years, they lived peacefully.
Then the waiting began.
One year passed without a child.
Then another.
Eventually, three years had gone by.
At first, both families were patient. They prayed, encouraged the couple and told them not to worry.
But patience slowly turned into pressure.
His mother began making comments about grandchildren.
His relatives started asking questions whenever they saw the couple.
Some even advised the wife to visit different doctors, traditional healers and religious houses because they assumed the problem had to be with her.
She endured everything quietly.
Then her younger sister became pregnant.
She was genuinely happy for her, but watching her sister prepare for motherhood became emotionally difficult.
Unfortunately, the pregnancy ended in tragedy.
Late Umar Bebeji, @Omarbebeji, came back from Lesser Hajj two days ago, bursting with life and hope. Sadly, died in car crash & now returned to his Creator. This is a poignant reminder to us to let go of grudges, forgive each other and sort out our differences while we still can

“Barrister, let me tell you something…
A few days ago, my mother called and asked me to help an elderly woman who needed surgery. They needed ₦80,000. I told her things were tight, but she insisted I should handle everything.
I said, ‘Umma, please, let me send ₦10,000 for now,’ but she refused. She said I should pay it all.
Honestly, I had the money at that time, but I had responsibilities. If I gave out ₦80,000, I didn’t know how we would survive. Still, she told me, ‘Allah will repay you.’
My heart became heavy, but I asked for the surgery date. She said it was on the 13th of Ramadan. When the day came, I sent the full ₦80,000.
Wallahi, after sending it, I had nothing left. I didn’t even know how my family would eat till Sallah. I have three children, and there was no talk of Sallah clothes.
Then something happened…
On the 20th of Ramadan, just 7 days later, my boss called me to Abuja for a job. A land deal for his company.
The next day, the transaction was completed… in billions.
Barrister, I walked away with ₦25 million.
Even my boss told me I might be relieved of my duties after Sallah.
The only thing on my mind was what my mother said: ‘Allah will repay you.’
I cried. I’ve never had ₦5 million at once in my life… talk less of ₦25 million.
After Sallah, I’m heading to Ka’abah for Umrah to show gratitude.”
I did the math…
₦80,000 turned into ₦25,000,000.
That’s over 300x.
Obey your parents.

Every time we go for Fajr prayers, I always observe this boy coming fully dressed in his school uniform.
Immediately after the prayers, he will leave with the father, going for work. I observed this for a couple of weeks and thought of something. What type of job could the father be into, that every day he had to leave as early as 6 am.
Only to realize the boy's mother has been late and the father go out everyday to first of all drop the boy at school before proceeding to his daily source of money.
May Allah bless him and other single responsible father taking care of their family without the help of anyone.
Keep striving, GOD will make it happen soon.
