NAKAPAG-EVACUATE KAMI 2 DAYS EARLIER...SA SIARGAO?
Bantay Nakaw Coalition posted photos of Camarines Sur Gov. Luigi Villafuerte and his father, Rep. LRay Villafuerte of the 2nd District, stranded in Siargao Island as parts of Camarines Sur were flooded due to Typhoon #KristinePH.
"SPOTTED: Mag-amang Governor at Congressman Luigi at LRay Villafuerte ng Camarines Sur, malungkot na stranded sa Siargao dahil sa Bagyong Kristine," Bantay Nakaw wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday, October 23.
According to an ABS-CBN News report, photos verified by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) showed severe flooding in Bato, Camarines Sur, with muddy floodwaters submerging streets and only the roofs of houses and stores visible. In Naga City, approximately 40 kilometers from Bato, nearly half of its 600 villages were fully submerged.
The Villafuertes are expected to switch positions in the upcoming #Halalan2025.
