@justsaydiane @HelenGreaves3 @MirandaKeeling I volunteered for a homeless charity. They knew the homeless people in the town by name and in constant contact. Also a foster agency for kids dependent on drugs told me something similar. They are ways to help homeless people other than money

@HelenGreaves3 @MirandaKeeling One of the problems of giving money:. It goes straight to the drug dealers. They do hang around waiting to see who gives money. They then take the money and force the drugs onto the homeless. They never get out of the dependancy and keeps them on the street

@SeeWhyGardens I save every drop of water. Washing up water, shower, washing hands, hand washing. It's used to flush the loo and water the plants.

@CharlieBonobo Look into no dig. A friend of mine took over an allotment in January. A genuine junk yard. Within 2 months she was growing in raised beds. No digging at all.

@littlegreentip1 I planted out 23 courgette plants and probably 10 on a friends. Not one had fruited. Flowers but they just die off. Other plots next to me are doing well. Makes no sense
