๐ท Storm No.6 Update: Storm No.6 (Jangmi), has just passed Okinawa, Japan, causing considerable damage to trees and infrastructure, and caused injuries to over 10 people. It is now heading towards the main islands of Japan.
Weather officials say it's possible they will issue level-4 alerts. This new category indicates an "urgent warning" and means people should evacuate from dangerous areas. Officials are urging residents to waste no time in making preparations.
Severe Tropical Storm Jangmi has caused flight cancellations in Japan and may disrupt Shinkansen bullet train services.
As of 4 a.m. on Tuesday, at least 326 flights, mostly to and from the Kyushu region, have been cancelled.
Japan Airlines has cancelled 170 flights that were scheduled to depart from or arrive at Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Takamatsu airports on Tuesday.
All Nippon Airways has cancelled 67 flights, including all those to and from Kagoshima and Miyazaki airports.

๐ท BREAKING NEWS: Long lines of police cars, ambulance, & firetrucks were called to the JR Tokaido Line in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday after a suspected spraying incident inside the train was reported.
A family of three were taken to hospital. The 35-year-old mother, who was with her husband and their 1-year-old daughter, said her throat felt irritated, but otherwise they did not sustain major injuries. Some other passengers in the same train car noticed a strange smell, but it was not clear whether anything was actually sprayed, the police said.

BEAKING NEWS: Huge forest fires in Iwate prefecture, Japan closing on to towns. 1000 people have been evacuated.
Two mountain fires broke out in the town of Otsuchi in Iwate Prefecture on yesterday afternoon, and the blazes continued on Thursday, burning more than 200 hectares of land. Helicopters from the Self-Defense Forces and firefighters are among those working to extinguish the blazes.
According to the town and other sources, the areas burned by the fires totaled over 200 hectares as of today's morning. Many structures, including residential houses, burned down. Around 1000 people in the surrounding area have been odered to evacuate.

๐ทBREAKING NEWS: A tank just exploded in a training ground in Oita, Japan, killing at least 3 men and injuring 1 woman ๐ท
At around 8:40 a.m (local time) today, the fire department was notified that a tank had exploded at the Nisseidai Training Ground in Oita Prefecture. In this accident, three male members were killed and one female member was injured.
According to the Hita Kusu Metropolitan Fire Headquarters, at around 8:40 a.m, at the Nisseidai Training Ground in Oita Prefecture, there was a report that "a tank exploded and many people were injured."
A 45-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were confirmed dead at the scene. A 32-year-old man was in cardiopulmonary arrest, but was later confirmed dead. In addition, a 21-year-old woman is receiving treatment at the hospital, but she is conscious.
According to the Western Region Inspector General's Office, the Ground Self-Defense Force's Western Tank Corps was conducting shooting training at that time, and all four people were on board Type 10 tanks. It means that the shell exploded.

After three weeks of searching, police in Kyoto Prefecture have found a body believed to be that of a missing 11-year-old boy. Yuki Adachi was last seen on March 23 after being dropped off near his school in Nantan. Days into the search, his yellow backpack was found in a mountainous area. Over the weekend, his black sneakers were discovered about four kilometers from his home.
On Monday, authorities located remains now undergoing formal identification and investigation. What started as hope slowly turned into a quiet fear that many were already preparing for. The entire region followed this case closely, holding on to any update, and now facing a heartbreaking turn.
