@Gini_220 Without seeing the back of the shirt, why assume it's one big hole back there? The assumption is the holes go straight through. Not that the entire back of the shirt has been cut out. π§ Then this is no longer a mathematical inquiry; it's trickery.
Today in my Kitchen: Saturday mornings mean breakfast/brunch! Breakfast Enchiladas, stuffed with sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese, topped with cream gravy, cheese, and chopped bacon.
@lippyent Had a couple of these water games. Basketball and another one where you had to fill the spaces with the triangles. I actually think I still have them stored away somewhere.
"If you can't tip your server don't eat out." And people have stopped eating out... That's why restaurants are closing their doors. Chains are going bankrupt and closing all their stores. Servers are losing jobs lest and right. So once these people have forced so many places out of business with their "don't eat out" mentality, and server jobs become harder and harder to find - then what? People should be tipping 50%, 60% to make up the difference? Bad service will get you 10%; okay service, 15%; great service, 20%; outstanding (above and beyond) 25% - 30%; but 40% as the starting standard? Absolutely not. Even in corporate world there is a clause for how much you get paid: "Compensation is commensurate," it means your pay will be proportional or equal in value to your skills and overall qualifications. Tipping a server is based on the same! You don't get the best tip for the worst service.
@lippyent I may have one take out menu left around for our favorite Chinese place, so I do still have all of these things. There's something comforting about a physical wall calendar.
Did You Know: With just a few ingredients you probably already have on hand you can make delicious, creamy homemade mayo for far less than the name brands. And it's just as good! I am a Hellmann's gal through and through. Over the last few months, using little tweaks at a time, I have been working on making mine as close to Hellmann's as possible! I told my husband once my last jar of Hellmann's is gone, I'm not buying anymore. It's too quick and easy to make a jar of my own! Not to mention FRESH and zero preservatives!
@lippyent That was my first thought. And second was "Michelle" by the Beatles. Because my high school coach would sing that every time he took role. π
Today in my Kitchen: Homemade mayo turned into a creamy Caesar dressing. A stale homemade hamburger bun turned into croutons. Lemon pepper grilled salmon. Salmon Caesar salads are banging!
