He allowed himself to be flopped down on top of Albus, closing his eyes and letting out a quiet yawn. “Definitely can start by taking a well deserved nap.” He joked, glancing up with a smirk.

“World domination eh? I like it.” Flops down like the lazy sod he is and takes the blond with him. “Where do we start?” Pets.

Albus arched a brow, one eye squinting open to peer up at the blond. “What does that even mean?”

No, seriously. Explain it to him cause he doesn’t know.

“Nothing you need to really think about.” He said with a hum, brushing away Albus’ hair from his face with a smile.

“Absolutely not.” Grins, still floating on his back, eyes closed.

Albus felt the water move bed this and he squinted open an eye to peer at the blonde. “What’d you have in mind?”

Shhhhhhhhhh. The writer is fine.

“Mmm.... no.” He said as he went back to treading so he could go towards Albus, lips curved into a smile. “Should that stop us?”

“So are we allowed or aren’t we?” He asked, mildly confused by the contradicting comments.

Albus completely blames Scorpius’ drunk ass writer.

“Nope. It’s a myth. Who is really allowed to have fun?” He asked, tilting his head to look at Albus, a smile on his lips.

Blinks water out of his eyes. “Wait, we’re actually allowed to /do/ that?”

His lips twitched, only partially teasing.

Albus heaved a cleansing sigh and flopped back on the water to float like Scorpius was doing, limbs spread out like a starfish.

Scorpius splashed Albus in response and laughed. “We have fun! Duh. Come on, Potter. Not everything has to be planned.”

“Yeah, we are.” Just grins, slowly treading water.

“So what do we do now?” Glances back to his newly minted partner in crime, brow arched curiously.

“Right?” He said with a grin before shifting his weight so he could float on his back. “We’re pretty awesome.”

Blinks fishy green water out of his eyes and shakes his head. “Yep. I’m good.”

Gives Scorpius a little thumbs up and slowly lifts his head to squint off the ledge high above they’d just fled. “That was pretty epic.” Drops his gaze back to the blond and grins.

To Scorpius, Albus was still a sight for sore eyes. “You alright there?” He said as he turned to look at Albus.

Albus was sputtering when his head popped back above the surface, his sopping hair tangled with bits of debris and stuck to the side of his face in the most UN sexy way imaginable.

Instantly feels vulnerable and hunted in these treacherous waters.

When Scorpius came back up, his soaked hair was pushed back and he was laugh, trying to keep himself above water.

“Yeah, I know your sneaky ways.” Quips back as he nods. “Let’s do it.”

So they jumped, that inspirational (AF) song playing in the background building to a deafening crescendo as they hit the water, which instantly swallowed them both up from view.

“Damn. Thought I could lose you this way.” He said jokingly.

Scorpius took Albus’ hand.
“Ready.”

And with that, they ran towards the edge and jumped as far as they could into the water below.

Albus snorted out a laugh, quickly stripping off his jeans and leaving them in a heap in the grass. “Please. You’re not getting out of here without me.”

“Ready.” says, moving over to the edge of the water and holding out his hand for Scorpius to take.

“If you /really/ don’t want to go, you don’t have to.” He said, allowing Albus another chance to change his mind just in case.

“But I’ll be there to protect you.” He added with a wink as he took his bottoms off until he was left with nothing except his boxers. “Ready?”

Albus’ gaze flicked between the water and the blond a few more times, bottom lip caught between his teeth.

To be honest, he couldn’t really argue with that.

“You’ve got a point, blondie,” grins at, reaching down to grab the hem of his t shirt, that he tugged over his head.

Scorpius rolled his eyes. “Better than being caged up again.” He said before taking off his shirt, a grin on his lips.

Gaze flicks from Scorpius. To the lake. Back to Scorpius. “/In/ the lake?”

Arches a dubious brow.

“Yeah, but who’s to say something far worse won’t catch us instead?” Shudders. Living water creeps him out.

Probably. It was totally that kind of run anyway.

Scorpius didn’t stop until they got to a small ledge outside that lead to the black lake a few feet down. “Bet they can’t catch us in there.”

“Yep, let’s do it.”

Slides his hand right into Scorpius’ and tugs him in whatever direction was the /opposite/ direction of their writers, breaking into a dead run and never looking back.

Some type of inspirational (AF) song is probably playing in the background somewhere.
