Today @RockfordFire fighter @chaney24 visited trainees to encourage them to avoid allowing distractions to get in the way of achieving their dreams! Mr. Chaney also talked to them about the wonderful benefits of being a firefighter!

Guest speaker Dion Simpson encouraged YouthBuild trainees to set goals and create plans to accomplish them. Each trainee presented their thoughts to the group and received encouraging words to help them along the way.

Chef Leon with Eliminate Racism 815 cooked a delicious meal for YouthBuild trainees and spoke with them on his organization's fight for diversity.

On Friday @rvcgoldeneagles gave trainees a tour of the RVC Tech Bus, informing them on the classes that are available at various sites around the city.
