Youths in the diaspora came together on May 25th at the Sierra Leone Diaspora Youth Summit USA! 🇸🇱🤝 This groundbreaking event marks the first government-led effort to connect with Sierra Leonean youths abroad, discussing inclusion, national matters, and proposing solutions to our shared challenges from a global viewpoint. Together, we are working towards a future where no Sierra Leonean youth is left behind in the journey to rebuild Sierra Leone. Just completed the first virtual meeting between, the University of Sierra Leone and @ohiodominican University in the US, to explore endless possibilities for collaboration. (Watch this space)

What's even more thrilling is that Sierra Leonean students have achieved a remarkable feat, making them the largest group of international students pursuing Bachelor's and Master's degrees at ODU this year.

As the Youth Envoy, I'm determined to forge ahead and create more opportunities for our young people to connect with the vast array of possibilities beyond Sierra Leone.
