Do you know what helplessness feels like?
It’s what we’re living right now in northern Gaza, where there is no shelter, no escape—only a call to Allah for mercy.
Every moment, I receive dozens of pleas from families trapped under siege, their homes destroyed above them. I’ve lost count.
All I can do is share their cries for help, hoping someone will listen, though I know, sadly, that it often falls on deaf ears in a world that sees our deaths as unremarkable. My heart aches for these devastated families, targeted mercilessly by Israel, the young and old alike, simply because they are Palestinian.
