74 days later, President Paul #Biya, 93, has finally returned to #Cameroon from Geneva, Switzerland.

This is the longest recorded stay away from home for the world’s oldest president, who has been in power since 1982.

Biya’s chartered flight touched down at Nsimalen International Airport in Yaoundé at 15:40 GMT and was immediately whisked away in a presidential convoy. He waved to his supporters from inside his tinted vehicle.

He left Cameroon on June 7 for what the government described as “a brief private stay in Europe”.

Biya's health has been long source of concern in Cameroon. His prolonged absence from the country, limited public appearances and the lack of clear information about his condition fuelled renewed speculation about his wellbeing and ability to continue carrying out the demands of the presidency.

Wike says he has never sold any waterways, and now wants Nigerians to believe that it is ordinary people who simply woke up and built houses on Abuja’s waterways.

But this is the hypocrisy in Wike’s argument, Who is allocating the green areas and drainage corridors to politicians, estate developers and his cronies in the first place?

Look at this example behind Model Secondary School, Maitama. A piece of land that should serve as a drainage/waterway was allocated, the field was sand-filled, and the entire drainage channel was effectively covered up for development.

Who allocated these places, who approved the development, and under whose watch were waterways and green areas being converted?

And what is amusing is he ordered demolitions but these are not what he is demolishing, He is demolishing houses that have been in existence even before he became Minister because he wants to save the friends he gave this land, and many more to.

This is another of the many examples that demand an answer.
