@APharaoh89@KathrynMathias1@stphnmaher Do we have nukes? No.
Do the members of Quint have nukes? Yes.
Why is Canada not in Quint? See the previous questions/answers.
These parking signs need to come down; the parking spots they indicate no longer exist.
I wouldn't put it past some motorists to still try parking in these former spots, despite the fact that doing so would essentially reduce O'Connor to a single lane.

@3kwords@RealLuckless@KidinaSandbox@KORichardson I'd suggest reading the rest of the tweet, but the rest of it flies in the face of whatever delusions you seem to have about HSR, so I might as well be typing to a brick wall. ๐งฑ
@3kwords@RealLuckless@KidinaSandbox@KORichardson Yes, all those communist countries like Japan, Italy, France, Spain, India, Indonesia, Morocco, South Korea...
I wish you'd outed yourself as a nutjob earlier, it would have saved me some keystrokes. Bye! ๐๐คก๐คช
@3kwords@RealLuckless@KidinaSandbox@KORichardson Add in a train station fee and the cost would still be much lower than a plane, all things considered.
These "fantasy trainsets" exist all over the world, and ridership is high. You might want to try one sometime.
@3kwords@RealLuckless@KidinaSandbox@KORichardson I recently took a high-speed train from Naples to Rome. it was โฌ16 ($23), downtown to downtown. A flight is $86 and doesn't consider added costs for getting to/from both airports, nor the added time due to security checkpoints, waiting on luggage and travel to/from airports.
@3kwords@RealLuckless@KidinaSandbox@KORichardson Air travellers don't count the cost of airports, so I'm not sure why train travellers would count the cost of track-building or land acquisition; we're talking train fares vs air fares.
Why do you assume that all this travel is work-related?
@unpubmedia@Alacrity59@acoyne Sure, but that's not happening at all these demonstrations.
Being pro-Palestine doesn't necessarily mean being pro-Hamas or being a supporter of Hamas' methods.
@JosieHishon@north_hwy29@acoyne Moving goods through the only Gaza-Egypt border crossing is prohibited by both Egypt and Israel. Talking to Egypt alone wonโt do anything, and Israel will never allow anything thru that crossing other than people.
@LorissaSengara@KORichardson@wickdchiq Depends on the route. Ottawa โ YYZ sucks, but Ottawa โ YTZ is pretty great.
Ultimately, a high-speed train would be best, as it would offer downtown to downtown access that air travel wonโt ever offer to Ottawa.
